Projects

Letters from and to Calvin

At the Theological Faculty of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam the edition of the letters from and to John Calvin is elaborated, part of the new critical edition of the writings of Calvin. The leaders of this long-term project are prof. dr. Wim Janse en prof. dr. Christoph Burger. This edition will include more than 3000 letters in Latin and in French. The letters will be published with introductions, annotations and critical apparatus. The first volume of this correspondence contains the letters from 1530 till September 1538 and was published in 2005 by Librairie Droz in Geneva.
